After-School Cookery Club

The Kitchen at 4a after-school cookery club is for children aged 8-12 and aims to teach them where food comes from, how to prepare a host of different dishes and learn valuable techniques which will carry them forward into being confident cooks.  Children will work in pairs (with a maximum of 4 children per session) to learn to cook one recipe to take home with them per session and whilst the food is cooking we chat about food and sometimes play a quick boardgame if time allows. Sessions will alternate between sweet and savoury dishes.

Where: 4a Garratts Way, High Wycombe, HP135SW
When: Every Monday during term time (unless otherwise advertised), 4.30-6pm
Cost: £14 per child per session. This covers all ingredients, use of equipment, recipe print outs and containers for food to be taken home in. The first session a child attends is a taster session, payable on the day, with subsequent sessions to be block-booked and payable per half term.
